London
The RSPB
Did you know that the RSPB has over 150 nature reserves in the UK? These vary from those that offer a great family day to those that offer a quiet site where nature can be enjoyed with minimal facilities. Rather than list them all here’s a couple of links that are useful for finding a Reserve near you or an Event near you.

Another great day out would be to see Birds of Prey with the RSPB. From Eagles, Ospreys, Red Kites and Peregrines. Here are just a few suggestions from the RSPB:
Peregrines
Tate Modern, London. A pair of Peregrines on Tate Modern tower on the South Bank. From June to the end of August. www.rspb.org.uk/tateperegrines

West London - Hampton Court to Putney.
On a bicycle you can cover serveral of the London parks in one day. Start at Bushy Park and follow the Thames to Richmond Park and end up at WWT Centre at Barnes. 20 km going through mature woodland, grassland and wetlands.
You are likely to see Green Woodpecks in Richmond Park, Gadwall at the London Wetland Centre, and Kingfisher along the Thames near Teddington Lock.

Re: London
Thanks Lai. That really does sound like a date for the diary. Had a look at who is exhibiting and there is some good ones there. Looks like it's going to be an interesting couple of days.
