Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
Though no updates as yet to the blog Jackson is posting on FB. He's posted a very sad pic of a lioness and looking for possible solutions. I hope somehow we can help him with the problem.

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
Thanks Ronnie just checked it out, and there are some interesting, and conflicting comments on there. I've put my on comments on for what they are worth. I think there's going to be some controversy on this one

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
I agree, very controversial subject. What do you? On the one hand it is nature taking it's course, but on the other the population decline almost demands something be done. How to do one without spoiling the other, tricky situation.

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
I think Jackson needed to explain what he meant quite clearly. It was getting pretty heeated with the discussions and I think people were misinterpreting what Jackson meant.

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
Yes Jackson needed to clarify what he ment, but there was only one person causing problems, and they needed putting in their place, and stop spoiling the message that Jackson was trying to get over

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
I'm pleased to say that the issue of the person who was causing problems on Jacksons FB, has been resolved. They came back on a few hours after my post, and oplogised for their comments, and deleted all the posts they had put on. So now its back to the issue of Jacksons idea for fund raising

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
Just been reading all those posts on Jackson's FB Page - there's a lot of debate and different opinions on there but at least everyone is singing from the same songsheet on one thing - they want to help the lions.
Jackson certainly would be a great Ambassador for a 'project' as he is so well known and respected. Lets hope he can come up with something so we can all support him

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
I got a like off Jackson on FB, for a post I put on this subject. Someone said they had been told that there was no evidence, that Lions could be returned to the wild, and I commented that we had seen, here in the UK ,a TV series called Lion Country, and that they were very close to proving that it could be done

Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
Looks like we might be in for some bad news. Jackson has posted on FB saying he has heard Shadow was seen mating again. He also said some people he knew would be out all day so he'd try to get more confirmation. I hope for the best but it looks like the cub may be gone.

Exactly the right place MM. great shot whoever took it, and we all know that the Lions, and other predators have to eat, but it's nice to see that the kudu got away in this one, after jumping over, and through the 3 Lions. You only need to click the link to see it
Thanks for sharing MM
