Re: Animal pictures of the week
Too true Littlewid - some really amazing photos this week.
I love the smiling bat , the Sandpipers , and the poor little Koala , the red squirrel sea otters and the swan holding up the traffic and probably best of all the dog with the tiger cub.
Thanks for posting Littlewid.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Thanks Littlewid for this week's photos
Those poor owls with the electric shock and flying into the window- I hope they were okay, the white Kiwi is just adorable, the two headed albino snake not my favourite creature and scary looking, the monkey and the Jack Russell playing is wonderful, the prairie dogs Pika even more , the tiger and the bear and great that there were tigers to be seen at Ranthambhore and that neither the bear nor the tigers were hurt, that's a moon bear and I really hope it returns to the wild where it belongs. The lioness and her cub in Olare conservancy is fantastic, what a stunning photo to have taken.
Another great selection and some I am not commenting on

I'd only be repeating what Lai said above as I agree with all of that but will also add I loved Max the Red Nosed Pitbull cooling down in a New York fountain and also what a thrill for the people at Woburn Safari Park seeing the baby being born, what a sweetie

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Another interesting selection - some of my favourites this week.
and baby - great photo, the photographer must have had the patience of a saint to get it.
Baby playing -
Lions in the acacia tree - unusual and scary if you thought you'd be safe up there!
Indian rhino baby - very cute and so tiny compared to mum
'fur jazzling' - :What: whatever next?
Stag in the canola field. Great photo.
Thanks Littlewid - I always look forward to these.
