Re: Animal pictures of the week
Littlewid. My laptop is on a go slow at the moment so I could only look at them in the thumbnails at the top rather than the full size picture but I did get the idea of them all.
Good to see this thread again, sometimes the photos are controversial but sometimes they are stunning and so worth looking at.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Littlewid, another interesting selection. I can still only look at the thumbnails for some reason my laptop is being a bit temperamental but I got the general idea of them. Those poor cows in the back of the car I hope they are okay and the idiots who were trying to rustle them are now locked up!

Thanks Littlewid. I will try this again later as the small thumbnail doesn't do the pics justice and I can't get the whole ones to work, it just whirrs

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Lai it is peculiar. I think its the way the link works in explorer. I know this sounds mad but it does the same to me so what I do is open the link then on the arrows for the picture I click on them as if I was going to look at each picture......and your right they don't show.......but if you then click to go backwards toward the beginning for each picture they display as normal. I know that sounds daft but it does work........just one of those weird anomalies of technology give it a go and let me know if it works for you.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Thanks Littlewid, it worked, and now I check above, Doogs suggested the same thing, so now I can see them properly
Another interesting selection, amongst them, such a stunning peacock, and the swan swimming through Henley shows how awful the floods were. The Lab with the woman doing yoga is just brilliant but the bulls
Thanks Doogs and Littlewid - I've finally cracked it

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Thanks Littlewid. Some great photos there and .... I just have to comment in particular on 3!
Meatball the obese cat no way, how could you let your cat get that large?
Dyes chicks poor wee things
Performing hippos - that is totally disgraceful and shocking, what on earth is that about? The lack of dignity for these performing animals is shocking and I have to ask how they taught hippos to do that? Not through kindness for sure
Pixie greyhound and Reilly rabbit wonderful photo.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Lai I agree about those 3 pictures, it's maddening when you see things like that but they always make the pictures of the week for some reason. The hippos is a disgrace and supports why we filled in the Q/A for performing animals. That poor cat, you really feel sorry for him, as you say, how can owners let their animals get so big, it is just so unfair on them and yes colouring chicks is just not on, why do people do these things, its beyond me. thankfully there are always some gorgeous wildlife ones as well and that's why I always look at these.
