There certainly are, that poor fox with it's tongue stuck on the ice, I bet that hurt
the circus bear made me want to cry - performing for humans a big and of course the ele as well
As you say some real crackers as ever, I love that we get to see some of them during the week and then a re-cap at the weekend.
Thanks Littlewid.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
I haven't been here for a while
From this latest selection I like the three lion cubs, the white tigers (especially the baby growling), jaguar, fox stuck tongue on ice (ouch!), polar bears tug of war!, ants forming their own natural circus act, shoebill trying to eat camera, little hedghog, loving lemurs, girl with dog and pony in snow.
But my favourite? The caterpillar and snail
This was a good week for big cat fans!

Littlewid.
Another great selection, all the fox photos are wonderful, especially the cat seeing off the fox! Also the chinstrap penguin looks so appealing, in fact all the gentoo penguin photos are stunning.
Definitely a good week for foxes and penguins and a lovely bunch of photos.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
I like:
The baby elephant in my home city of Melbourne.
That flying squirrel is just ridiculously cute!
The window shopping foxes with the snow in the background.
Brave cat chasing said foxes away
It's Doogsy's cameraman!
You can adopt a fox in Australia!
The squirrel in the orange mask is very smirk-inducing.
Leopard seal and penguin It has jaws like a crocodile!
Beautiful pic of the penguin and icicles.
Zebras in the snow!
Nice pic of Anastasia the Amur Tiger. Wasn't she shown recently by CC?
Fantastic pic of the colourful jaguar.
I like the pigeons in Dublin.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Again there are some lovely pictures. A few of them we have seen already from posting this week but lots that we haven't,theres even one for boy. Two I didn't like were the rabbit being caught and the fox being attacked, both by birds of prey in a competition but there are some stunning pics as always.

Re: Animal pictures of the week
Thanks Littlewid, another interesting selection as ever. Sad to see that poor lion on the stretcher, but glad he was rescued, I hope he, the other lions and the bears are safe and well cared for now.
Those poor pangolins, I'm pleased they were discovered though.

Thanks Littlewid.
The Baby dik-dik is just adorable and so tiny.
The poor soggy Koala what a shame for it
The albino pygmy hedgehog totally
Charlie the parrot - ouch what a tragic sight, but how lovely in his knitted jumper
Wow those burrowing owls are superb.
The Sparrowhawk and the bird - what a shot but how
Another interesting selection
