Bentley - Rainbow Bridge

I really can't talk about Bentley at the moment but suddenly this evening Bentley lost his fight and he has gone to sleep. It is too much for me to talk about at the moment but I will talk about my lovely boy when I can but for now it is just too painful for me.

We understand Littlewid you two have been together for such a long time, and the emotions you go through at a time like this make it impossible to get your feelings out. I'm sure I dont only speak for myself, but the whole forum when I say we are here for you when you need us.
He was a beautiful looking Dog, with from what you have told us, a lovely temprement, at least Sheba will be there to welcome him at Rainbow Bridge.

Littlewid I am just so sorry to hear about Bentley, he was such a special dog and all our thoughts are with you at this time, the loss of a pet is always one of the hardest things to bear.

I can't believe it's now a week since I had my last cuddle with my gorgeous boy. It's been a very hard week and I will admit I have found it very difficult to cope. Bentley was a huge part of my life and the emptyness has been enormous and almost too much to cope with. I have needed to keep to myself and have time just remembering my boy and all the stuff we have been through together. It has been one amazing journey for us both and one with enormous love and respect for a fellow who had to cope with so much all of his life but if truth be known, Bentley coped better than I did. He knows I hope, how much I love him and how much my world has turned upside down but I also hope he knows I wouldn't have changed a thing about our life because it was so very special and it's all down to one very adorable,cute,cheeky bundle of fur I brought home from Somerset 11 years ago, the day my life changed for the better. I still have so much saddness inside and struggle to deal with my emotions but here I want to make it a happy rememberance for Bentley who only ever deserved the best and all the love and fun I could give him.

That Littlewid is a really lovely tribute, and it really must have cost you alot to do it. It's good that even through the sadness you feel you can remember all those good times together, and the love, and pleasure Bently brought into your life. After the sadness, and heartache have eased those memories will be with you for the rest of your life, as they will with Bently now in Rainbow Bridge. His eyes are bright, and all seeing once more, his muscles young, and strong as he runs, and plays with Littlewid, and Sheba. So through the tears, sadness, and heartache beglad that now, he is, as he was all those years ago, and will be when you all meet again at the Rainbow Bridge

I did'nt think it was that long LW. It only seems like yesterday. I'm sure like you, you have been in Bentlys thoughts as well, and he's looking down on his Mum, and missing you as much as you miss him. At least you know he is happy in Rainbow Bridge, and running around with all his friends having fun, but still remembering all the good times you both had together.

Where have 5 years gone? I cant believe its 5 years today. It seems like yesterday although it also seems a lifetime since my gorgeous boy was here.

I cant believe its 5 Yrs since Bentley went across the Rainbow Bridge LW, and I know he was special to you. I think we all never forget the pets we have has that have touched our lives over the years, and I'm sure as much as we miss them, and keep remembering them, and sending loving thoughts, they are all looking down on us, and doing the same thing.
