I've seen that clip a few times, but always amazing to watch. Thanks SM. Elephants never cease to amaze me, there sheer determination to get that little one out is remarkable. I wonder how much time actually elapsed. The poor little mite must have been exhausted.

It makes you think though, how much heartbreak they must experience when they have to leave their little ones behind because they can't rescue them. Thinking of some of the little ones DSWT have rescued, from wells ... or more recently stuck in mud. Sad Sad

Did you notice how few of those elephants actually had tusks? Not even broken ones. None at all.

Such a family affair to rescue the little one and you're right AM he/she must have been exhausted, it was only a little tooter, bless it I love you I love you

WOW that is just amazing, what an effort from them all, it was so touching to watch but how awful it must have been for the baby. Isn't it amazing though how they just move on once the rescue is over as if nothing has happened. If that had been a human, we would have milked it for all it was worth. Animals just get on with life after the event. Pure respect to them Elephant behind
