i posted another two updates today on www.motswariblog.blogspot.com; you have to go and see where Kuhanya was this morning!!!
also added info on several more leopards with a lot of previously unposted photos(look for their stories on the right hand side), as well as some maps of the reserve to give you a better idea of where we are seeing the animals!
enjoy!

SM - yeah, she has been very different lately - i am sure it is hormonal changes! and no, we have had no issues with people and her as she tends to only move in the camp when it is quiet and the people are out on drive! luckily she hasnt been in camp for three days now, so we hoping she has moved on :)

You'll have to learn who is who for when you visit Littlewid so we can have a huge update on all the lovely wildlife, especially the leopards! And don't forget the birds

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
Don't worry Lai, I will get a handle on who is who.......I am better at animal lineage than I am the two legged variety I am not so good with birds which is odd because I really do love birds, so I do need to brush up there or take a good book with me. I plan on taking a large notebook with me to write everything down as apart from the forum I want to keep it all on record for myself and also my Niece Lara who would dearly love to go, her passion for animals and wildlife is huge as well, even at the young age of 8.

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
Top of my list is always a note pad, essential as you will see so much Littlewid. I bet the library will have a few good books, my bird book is East Africa otherwise I would lend it to you all. If you need binos just say, they are another seriously essential piece of kit I bet your neice will love seeing all your photos and hearing all about Motswari.

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
Got my Binos Lai, they were an essential part of my kit when I used to travel around watching the motor racing. I reckon I will try and find a good book to buy, that way it doesn't matter if I make reference notes in it. I also need to find the biggest pad I can buy and a pen with endless ink in it.....there is going to be soooooooo much to write and remember

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
Ok this is a real indicator of how shot my brain is, Ive been trying to work out what BINOS are doh doh doh .
I was going to go through the blog cats and put together some kind of family tree for the forum and where each likes to hang out.
Maybe Chad could recommend a good bird book for the Motswari area??

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
I could have said BINS that would have been more confusing
Pencils maybe Littlewid - my pen leaked and my biro ran out !!! Luckily Ali is better organised and had spares, so now i take lots of pencils.
Good idea to buy a book as it's always fun to have and will be useful when WS posts birds pics that we don't know

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
I think you have a bigger logistics problem than what you think. First of all your going to have to get Chad to count all the Animals in the reserve if you want to see any of them
WS
WS
Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
Is that cos SM hasn't got any BINS or cos Chad has lost track of his animals .......or am I just being my usual thick self

Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
No its because when you know how many animals there are. You will be able to get enough darts, and drugs to sedate each animal. To fit them with the device so that you will see them all
WS
WS
Re: Motswari Game Reserve Blog
Then all you have to do then is order a device to fit to each animal, then you'll be sure of seeing them all no problem
