Awww bless, lovely to see Amber and her cubs again
they obviously didn't realise how much that camera cost
The Wildie did well to get away from them

Great to see Amber and her cubs but that Wildie so deserved to get away. It was definiately out numbered and made a great escape. I know our wonderful cheetahs have to eat but the wildie so deserved to live that day......Brave Wildie

Thanks WS - what an amazing relationship they must have. It would be lovely to see them playing together outside, and what a gorgeous big dog.

Re: Todays Smile
What a lovely clip, certainly made me :) this morning
Domestic cats & dogs get on well together in a house so if this two are raised together why should it be any different ?
I bet they go mad together outside Lai and it would be fun to watch them in action

Thats a lot of hard work for one mum no wonder she is the dominant female, she's got to be something special but how hard must that be for the other mums but that is obviously how order is kept and how they work as a pack, with one leader in control.
I do love the wild dogs and i'm keeping my fingers crossed Doogs that you, Lai and Anne-Marie get to see them

Re: Todays Smile
Aren't they just beautiful they do look so sweet and gentle and I wonder if that is their entire nature as they seem unable to defend themselves. I know Lions are hard to put up a good fight against but these are heavy animals too and you would think with a mighty kick to them as well but maybe they are just passive in nature.
Thats a lovely clip of them Lai and they truely are amazing to look at and have the most endearing faces.

Re: Todays Smile
Thanks for posting that Lai, they are very stunning and I loved the little one, very
Looking forward to seeing them when we are in Samburu and also very much looking forward to seeing Reticulated again (only found in the north of Kenya). I was blown away by how stunningly beautiful they were when we saw them back in 2006

Yes we did Lai and they are very beautiful
Hope to get one of that good shots of them on their hind legs eating from the trees - they didn't 'perform' that for us back in 2006

What a fantastic array of 'buddies' that has certainly made me smile this morning :)
All of them were very cute but my two favourites, no need to say why, were the Boxer Dog / Lamb and the horse / cat - loved them thanks WS

Gorgeous WS. The world would be a miserable place without animals. Amazing friendships there

Re: Todays Smile
that was a really magical clip WS - what an amazing collection of animals you wouldn't expect to see together. I loved them all and thought the music with the clips was so apt.
A great start to the week WS (although I know it was the weekend smile )

One for today. I'm a big fan of Joanna Lumley and some of the causes she supports.
