What a change in Hoku, amazing how quickly they grow. I hope we don't miss him fledging What a Face the photo of Hoku and Phoebe together is lovely, what good timing Littlewid.

Thanks for posting.

Hoku has fledged - and i missed it affraid you can hear Hoku chirping away and Phoebe has just landed on the empty nest. Now Phoebe has gone again. I wonder if Hoku will come back to the nest or if that is it?

Evil or Very Mad i can't believe we missed it Rolling Eyes what a shame.

No, we missed it, he was flapping alot last night and looked ready for take off, but apparantly he had done the same thing the night before. Bless him, he obviously got his confidence up and off he went. I am so pleased though because this is a success story for Phoebe, after all she has been through and also little Hoku getting knocked out of the nest by a crow, it's wonderful that he survived and has fledged.
Will have a little look later to see if he or Phoebe returns.
Thanks for the news Lai.

After he fledged, Hoku has been seen hanging around on a Yucca plant and phoebe has still been feeding him. I got this link from the site so I hope it works ok.

I checked in on the cam just now, they've still got it running but on an area where Phoebe and Hoku must be some of the time. Pretty looking Yucca's in their yard but no Phoebe or Hoku at the moment. I wonder how often they see them now scratch

I'm glad they have still got the cam running Lai. I posted a link on the 5th June that had a picture of Hoku on the yucca plant and Phoebe had been feeding him there. I hope they are still around, but then again they must be or the host may have taken the cam down, maybe we just need to have luck on our side when we tune in, Like you I will keep checking for signs or news of them both.

OH MY GOODNESS Lai, that is just so exciting bounce Dear old Phoebe, she is just such a star isn't she. I am keeping my fingers so tightly crossed and will surely be following her again. That has really made me smile on this wet afternoon. Very Happy

Looks like Phoebes new chicks have been called Harouka and Kouki Very Happy in support and hope of what has happened in Japan.
Tried looking at the cam but can't get a picture, it looks as if ustream has been having trouble from the FB site messages but it may also be its the wrong time of day to be looking in.
It's brilliant news that Phoebe has chicks again though. I will try and have another peek in this evening to see if the cam is up. Last time it was viewable from about 6pm our time.

It's definitely a later in the day one Littlewid as it's in the States. Here's hoping Phoebe raises her chicks successfully this time.

Thanks for checking.
