Yes Ronnie seen that, and it is exactly the type of voioce I was thinking about. It really would have given more atmosphere to the film, I think you could have almost imagined you were there.

I've been having another little look at the film, and I'm sure the bit with the young Lions playing with the Leopard Tortoise was from a clip on BCL/BCD. I can clearly remember them trying to prise the shell open, but in the end they gave up, and the Tortoise got away safely.
I never got a reply from Simons site Wildlife Whisperer, about which of Notchs Boys first crossed the river with him. Sad that they do'nt reply

WS I remember the scene you are talking about and I'm sure you're right. I also remember them not being able to figure out how to "get it open" and moving on. I'm sure there are plenty of other scenes that were featured in both the film and the show. So many were working on both at the same time. It is a shame no one ever got back from Simon King's site. We could always see if Sarah Skinner or Sara Blackburn from Mara Predator Project has any thoughts, but I'm pretty confident from others I've asked, and all the really recent pictures I've seen, it was Notch and Notch II we see cross the Mara first.

Here is a picture of Notch II - Credit Peter Rettig

I think a few of the clips used probably came via BCD /BCL.

You could try Simon K via his Twitter account rather than WW Twitter (which is Jason). Simon is @TVsSimonKing. I am not sure about the website but Jason runs it day to day.
