Re: Post your Africam Pics
That was a great start to your day WS seeing the lions, eles and rhino - you defininitely need to be early to see all this activity (and I am not an early bird during the week).
Thanks for posting - really enjoyed seeing the photos and your commentary.

Captured this Elephant this morning with massive tusks
The Wildeboy is dwarfed as the Elephant goes just behind him
The Rhinos have invited themselves to breakfast again

Re: Post your Africam Pics
A bit of drama at Tembe this morning. Unfortunatly the pics dont do it justice.
The Rhino passes the tree in the centre of the Pic
At the bottom of the tree in the centre in the dip a Lioness has comes from under the tree just after the Rhino has passed
Then an Elephant approaches the Lioness, and there's a stand off for a few seconds
The Elephant turned away, and went into the gap between the trees, in the mean time the Rhino must have done a complete circle of the tree, and been coming out towards the Elephant who did'nt see it as it was still watching the Lioness. The next thing the Elephant shot backwards so fast, as the Rhino mock charged it, that I only got the edge of its trunk on the right of the pic ( marked in yellow ) the Lioness was still frozen in the dip also marked in yellow.
Sorry about the quality Guys, but it was fascinating to watch. Never seen a Rhino charge an Elephant, and I've never seen an Elephant go backwards so fast

I bet that was great to watch WS - never mind the photos, your commentary set the scene perfectly.

Re: Post your Africam Pics
It was Lai, I really could'nt believe how fast that Elephant went backwards. I dont know who was more surprised me or the Lioness There are definately Lions there often thats the second time in a few days I've seen them. Both time it's been one Lioness, and a Male. The Male just wlaked through the back of thepicture yesterday, but it was to quick a glimpse to catch a Pic.
Just the Ele, and Rhinos this morning

Re: Post your Africam Pics
What a spectacle that must have been to watch WS, Amazing. As Lai say's, never mind about the pictures you certainly set the scene and i'm not sure I would have got any pictures, I would have been too slow with watching what was happening. No wonder there was no Lioness yesterday, I think she had had too much excitment the day before

Re: Post your Africam Pics
The two Rhino were having a nice soak this morning at Tembe
and a family of Baboons were really having fun, a morning playing by the water with the kids at EP
Then back home
Then after those noisy pesky Kids had gone, it was time for a bit of relaxation for the Buff Boys
