Re: Post your Africam Pics
It was very quiet around Africam this morning. The only Animals around were a Male, and Female Waterbuck
It's strange its gone quiet, because a couple of weeks ago, when I was taking Pics about the same time 6-00 am ish there were quite a few different Animals

Re: Post your Africam Pics
I was up at 4-30am this morning so I thought I'd have a quick look in to see if there were more Animals around at that time in a morning. The only thing I found were a large herd of Buffalo coming for a drink on Elephant Plains

Re: Post your Africam Pics
A small group of Lioness's have been around all morning at Tembe at first they seemed to be staking out the water hole at Tembe. They blend so well into the grass, and bushes you cant see them even from a short distance. See if you can spot them from this shot
A bit closer
these were taken around 6-30am our time
At first I thought there were only two, but there was another one that was hidden, that I saw after they came out into the open more
They were still hanging around, at 10-45am, taking advantage of the shade of the tree, and no doubt hoping some unwary animal would come for a drink, and give them an easy meal
The Buffalo at Elephant Plains had the same idea of taking the shade from the tress,
by the water hole there.I dont think they'd be so relaxed if they were at Tembe

Re: Post your Africam Pics
Looks like I was right about the Lions, from yesterday, there was a Video Clip was posted just after I stopped watching, and some Water buck walked right upto them, one of the Lioness's took off after them, but they went out of shot. So I dont know if they got breafast in bed or not

The Lions were nowhere to be seen this morning. Looks like a couple of Big Tuskers have taken over the Tembe area

Re: Post your Africam Pics
Thanks for the Update WS. Just had a good look around the new look site and must say the quality seems greatly improved. It is also a lot easier and clearer to navigate.

Re: Post your Africam Pics
What a great start to the day WS the buff boys chilling, which I always find so peaceful, the rhino relaxing and some lovely eles.
The ants on the cam are amazing, I wonder what attracted them in the first place and I wonder how they'll get rid of them because if they are like the ants in Kenya they BITE - what an amazing thing to see.
Thanks for posting WS that's made me smile this morning.
