Hope Rainbow Bridge

This whole thread and all the pics are making me cry, I can't believe what has happened.

RIP little bear Hope - all our thoughts are prayers are with you, now in the great savannah in the sky with all your family. Your life was too short and we followed you every step of the way, through moments of sadness and great happiness, you will be sorely missed by so many people.

still have tears running down my cheeks now, it's all just too sad thinking about the tragic loss of her.

Part of me feels, well there is no body so there must be Hope, but my logic deduction also says what else could have happened for her to disappear otherwise.

And SM, I kept thinking the same thing. Part of me is still praying that her natural instincts took over (she should be by herself by now) and she's gone off and made a den. She was certainly digging one in that clip! But I think I'm being far to optimistic.

Lai that is such a touching picture and bring lots of tears again. I must admit I find it hard to read about Hope and wanted to post further on the hunting of bears and Hope but I was getting too angry about it to post. It would be an enormous relief if Hope was denning somewhere but I am sure the news would not have been put out if they were not certain Hope had been killed.
Don't know about the rest of you but I think of her lots during the day and always have a little thought of her when I go to sleep, it's like saying goodnight to her along with all my little furries that have gone to sleep. Daft I know but thats me.

Littlewid. I suddenly remember and can't quite believe it, I am sad to say I think it must be true otherwise they surely wouldn't have mentioned it. Amazing that one little bear has touched so many hearts. We have to hope that some good will come out of her tragic end, perhaps I am being naive on this wish.

No it's not being naive Lai Pai. I truely believe that Hope was such a special bear that her passing will not be in vein in the end. Some animals are here for us to learn, look at what Echo did for elephants, I am positive that Hope will carry the Hope for the Black Bears in the future. I also believe that animals are given certain names for a reason and I am sure she wasn't called Hope just because it was a beautiful name, she was given it at the time for Hope and that believing and wish will carry on I am sure.
