BBC2 Springwatch 2012

RSPB Ynys-hir nature reserve is hosting BBC Springwatch for a second series.

The new series of Springwatch and Springwatch Unsprung will begin in May on BBC Two. It will continue for three weeks on Mondays to Thursdays, from the Ynys-hir reserve in Wales. We will also be travelling across to wild locations across the UK, following all the drama of spring as it happens

Brilliant, thanks Lai I was thinking about Springwatch the other day and thinking it must be coming on soon.
Is that anywhere near you WS? it would be great if it was and also lovely if we get to see more Osprey

I'm going to watch Springwatch, now got it recorded. Just had a quick look at the Cams, and it looks like we have Beachball, Football, and Tennis ball, again lets hope Tennis ball, makes it this year

Wonderful pictures from the other day WS and also from yesterday, loving the owls again and also loving all the balls
They have a lot of cams this time which is briliant but going to be tough keeping up with them all.
I recorded it last night as well as I was out but watched it before going to bed, I thought it was brilliant, a slightly different format and I liked it. Fantastic to see all those little fox cubs, what a lot though for one vixen to care for but what a job she is doing and i'm really looking forward to following those.
Loved the Kingfishers and what a brilliant mating ritual they have, it's so sweet.
The only thing I was disappointed in is they don't have an Unsprung afterwards, I wonder why they are not doing that this time.
It's brilliant it's back and i'm looking forward to tonights

Enjoyed last night's show and saw from my RT that Unsprung is on Thursday - to be honest I'm happy with it just once a week, I love the main show but am never sure about Unsprung.

Littlewid - I really enjoyed seeing the vixen and her cubs, what an amazing number, and the Kingfishers were simply beautiful. I also really enjoyed learning about the mole, one of my favourites (probably because I liked Wind in the Willows so much).

Sky+ing the lot so I don't miss out.
