Re: Jackson Looseyia's Blog
What a wonderful read and insight into Jacksons life Lai. I wonder how different his life would have been if his father hadn't been offered that opportunity of being Head Ranger and getting to know Ron Beaton.

Good news from Olare Orok Conservancy http://www.oocmara.com/
The big news this month is that Jackson Looseyia has taken on the role of Patron of the Olare Orok Conservancy Trust. Karibu Sana Jack!
Jackson Ole Looseyia
Patron Olare Orok Conservancy Trust
Jackson is a man with a true pedigree, born in Lemek which is now part of Mara North Conservancy, his father having been the Head Ranger and confidant of Lynn Temple-Boreham, South Masailand's first Game Warden under the British colonial government.
Jackson was tutored by his father in bush lore from a very early age and now holds the enviable position of being one of the Masai Mara's most sought after safari guides. He is a co-owner of Nomadic Encounters private homes based within the Olare Orok and Mara North Conservancies.
Jackson has recently been co-presenting on the BBC Big Cat Live together with Simon King and Jonathan Scott. He plays a big part in promoting the Koiyaki Guiding School as a capacity building facility for his people as well as the new community-owner conservancies bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Maasai safari guides graduating through the Koiyaki Guiding School look to him as their role model and he has gone a long way to improving the safari guide standards within the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the adjoining conservancies and in Kenya at large.
