Phoebe has hatched her first egg, it was a pre - dawn hatch, but there's a video

A little video of Phoebe coming on to the nest to feed the baby who has been named as Sandy, it's only 1min 30secs long, and the action starts about half way through

Welcome to the world Sandy and wht a lovely name, so different from the other names of Phoebes little chicks and Well Done Phoebe, what a she is and as you say WS, all we have to do is to wait for the second egg to hatch, it's normally a day apart isn't it?

Lovely video WS and the second egg has now hatched and the little chick has been called Faith, so we have Sandy & Faith. When I first looked in Phoebe was on the nest.

Then she flew of for a very short time and we were able to glimpse both little chicks

But before too long Phoebe was back nesting her chicks

As promised a Video of both Sandy & Faith being fed by Phoebe. If your wondering about the names, as you said its a different type of name from the usual. Mr P the host has named Sandy in rememberance of the Children that died at Sandyhope School, and Faith for the humanity of all the people who have supported the survivors, and Parents.

Their names are perfect aren't they WS and you prey even more that both chicks survive and fledge as they carry such meaning with them. Loved the video but I see that Phoebe fed one more than the other, I presume the greedy one was Sandy as she is the older chick, lets hope that Faith doesn't miss out on the feeding, but then again, Phoebe is such an experienced mum I am sure she will make sure they are both well fed.

Faith is being fed OK, its just that being born first Sandy gets first pick, but there's plenty of food around

That last capture is brilliant WS I haven't managed to get a shot of Sandy or Faith this evening, Phoebe is sitting tight on the nest, but I have a pic of her.

So many viewers are watching you often get screen freeze with the blue circle but it's wonderful Phoebe, Sandy & Faith have so many followers.

Great pic LW. The cams been like that for a while, there are loads on, and it does slow it down.

There is such an interest in Phoebe and the chicks so a little blue circle every now and again is worth it as they are so beautiful to watch arent they.

that is brilliant WS and its so clear to see isnt it. Both chicks were being fed equally which is so lovely to see and they both look very strong and healthy That really is a lovely video and a fantastic surprise to wake up too

Oh My Goodness WS, they really have grown haven't they, just goes to show what a fab job Phoebe is doing with feeding them. Thats a great video and its so nice that the cam is so close to them this time as the pictures and videos are much clearer.
