It is a long clip Lai but worth it. Just checked on Emma, still waiting for the second egg to hatch but the owner has moved the cam closer so when Emma hops off the nest we have a closer view of the egg and the chick.
Heres Emma tonight.

Finally Emma has got up from the nest and we can see the other egg hasn't started pipping yet.
Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 10 Mwsna291
I have been watching for a while now and was starting to think she would not leave the nest this evening.

it can happen a day apart WS so it may hatch tomorrow but it may be the next day, I think if it's much after that then it probably wont happen and I think the Hummer gets rid of it from the nest but if you can check that would be good as I am only working on memory here.....and I may be wrong.

Great photos and info Littlewid and WS. Watched most of the clip in between doing bits and bobs yesterday, amazing to see a little hummer gradually emerging.

Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 10 Wa812
She then flew off to get food, and there was the second hatchling

I checked with the Guys on chat, and they have been named Suger & Spice

WOW I've been missing out on here. Thanks everyone for lots of great photos and info re Emma, Sugar & Spice. Wonderful that the eggs have hatched and I also love the chicks names.

Fingers, toes, arms and everything else crossed that Emma has more success with Sugar & Spice than poor Phoebe did.

Emma is looking fine this evening, she was brooding on the nest when I looked in
Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 10 Mwsna293
Then off she flew to let us see Sugar and Spice, who have been very wriggly in the nest so I wonder if it's nearly feeding time.
