It must be really confusing, for Emma. I will have a look a bit later to see how she's doing. Thanks for looking in LW

When she flew back in WS she had her back to the chicks but she has since turned around and has been looking at them and apparantly she fed them well yesterday, I think everything is going to plan but it would be good if you could check on the chat cheers

Emma update They are approx 8-00Hrs behind us there. I've had a word with the Guys on chat, and Emma has been feeding the litttle ones today, it wont ge long now before they take them in for the night, they have been feeding well, and seem quite content.

Thats a cracking photo of Emma feeding them WS Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 9 768480 it is so wonderful that Emma has taken Phil & Mia on and is still brooding her eggs as well, what a Hummer she is.
Thanks for the update and I will try and check on them later.

Just checked on Emma, she had just flown back to the nest and Phil and Mia popped their heads up expecting a feed, but not this time. Emma doesn't feed them everytime she returns which is natural but at least they are doing well and must be strong to hold their heads the way they did.

There seem to be so many twits and turns in a Hummingbirds life Lai and it looks like Emmas has a few of them.
heres a pic of Emma just now, can't see any chicks in the opposite nest, maybe WS can look in the chat and see if anything has happened.

Sorry to say the little Guys did'nt make it, they passed away over night, although they and Emma did all they could. The web cam host has put them in her Rose Garden Sad .
Something to look forward to Emmas eggs are due to hatch between 2nd & 5th June.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Thats really sad news WS as they seemed to be doing really well and Emma was doing a fantastic job, nature can be so cruel and it seems as though life as a baby Hummer is so tough. At least we do have Emmas eggs to watch and hopefully her chicks will thrive into adults. I will have a check on Emma this evening. Thanks for finding out and letting us know WS.

Checkd on Emma, she is fine which is good and the eggs are ok. Emma was sitting on them when I first looked in then she flew off, the eggs look good, we now just have to wait for them to hatch.
