Your right Doogs Mr P had a top of the range cam, and it shows. The nest looks as though it's getting a bit on the small side Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 18 40683

Oh My WS they really do look like proper little Hummers there and ready to take the leap of faith, but I hope they do it tomorrow so we can see them. It is getting a little late for them now but they have fledged whilst we have all been sleeping before but lets hope Sandy and Faith hang on.

They should'nt fledge in the dark, they dont fly unless their startled by something. It's nightfall there around 1-30am our time, we are 8 Hrs in front of the nest time. It's dawn there at 3-50pm our time, so hopefully they'll still be there tomorrow. I thought one was going earlier, but it was a release, and landing

Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 18 768480 Great photo LW.
I did'nt get the fledge Sad Sandy fledged first, and came back to the nest after a few minutes. She came back twice while Faith was still in the nest, but I did get the third take off, in slow motion
Video 1 min

Had to go off for tea, just come back on, and Faith still has'nt gone yet

1-00am update. Sandy came back to the nest a couple of hours again, and has stayed there since. With Phoebe still coming back in and feeding them both. There's only about 40 or 50 mins to nightfall so it looks as though Sandy wants to Group Hug up to Faith for the night rather than spend it on her own

Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 18 768480 Well done for capturing Sandys Fledge WS Like a Star @ heaven I don't blame Sandy for coming back and snuggling up to Faith for the night, it must be daunting to spend your first night alone in the garden. I thought Faith might have fledged last night as well but she was still there when I went off. I have just peeked in but it is far too dark to see anything so I suppose we will have to wait till this afternoon to see if they are both still there. Thanks for both of the videos WS cheers

Although she has been doing quite a bit of Wingercizing this evening, I don't think Faith is going anywhere tonight. She is still sitting in the nest. Just tried to post a pic but not able to at the moment scratch

Dont worry LW, I dont mind missing a Hummer for a albino Hummingbird cam - Phoebe - Page 18 40683 and this is a Video of Faith's Fledge so nothing missed

She fledged at 10-01pm our time, and returned to the nest an hour later, she has since been visited by Sandy a number of times, and both are still being fed by Phoebe.
Sandy back for a visit
Video 46 secs

They will now stay around the courtyard for some time, usualy in the Yuka Plant next to the Rose Bush, while Phoebe shows them what food to catch, and eat. Mr P will move the cam to give a view of the area, so we will still see them for a while yet
