Oh isn't that always the way WS and what a shame as I know you had put lot of time into watching Shelley and Tierra, how cheeky of her to fledge when your back was turned Those were two lovely videos though and it's great that both of them have been reared and fledged safely.

Woohoo   Phoebe is back, thats brilliant, so pleased to see her again and if im not mistaken that nest looks deeper than her other ones but maybe its just my imagination.
Thanks for the clips WS, im looking forward to following her again.

Phoebe laid her second Eggs today, the first was laid on the 10th. Around 17 days for hatching so we could have a Xmas Day or New Years Day baby

Tomorrow I am going to try and watch Phoebe on the Puffin down load, I have missed her but I wont be able to take pictures and post them as that still seems to be a no no with this tablet    I take it Phoebe has 2 eggs again

Phoebe has twins Ana & Pavan

The hatches are logged as 10 mins apart but there is conjecture that it was a double hatch, its the first time both eggs have hatched at more or less the same time, usualy they follow the laying dates of a couple ofdays apart. You can make your own minds up on the double hatch from my video close up.

   That was definitely a double hatch WS, it was clear on the first video that the eggs cracked at the same time and clear on your close up as well. It looks as if the baby clip had one baby and the other still maybe in the shell but I think the other chick was just hiding the other one a little and they were surrounded by shell. For me I would most definitely say a double hatch. What an amazing thing to have happened, it is so unusual isn't it, good old Phoebe    I wonder if they will now fledge at the same time instead of a day or two apart, that will be interesting to see.
Thanks for that WS and I love the names as well. Phoebe never disappoints does she   

WS can you please post the link to phoebes cam so I can save it as now I can watch cams I would love to keep an eye on her. I also need to sort out about capturing pictures so I can post them.

The fledglings have been named as Anna & Pavant pronnounced they are named after winds.

These little Guys are growing all ready, a quick close up of them in their nest on New Years Eve



Mr P named them after winds becuase the Santa Ana wind was blowing the day they were  born quite a bit. So thats where Anan came from, and Pavant is apparently a Hindu Wind God

They really do grow fast don't they WS, its quite amazing really how quickly they develop, that's a lovely clip of them snuggled up together in the nest    Clever Mr P with the names, they are very apt aren't they and lovely too.
That second clip is so funny, he looked as if he was standing on his head there, that must take effort for such a little one
