Re: Hummingbird cam - Phoebe
Thanks for continuing to watch last night after I went off WS and the pics are brilliant
Thank you for checking them today Lai, I have just had a look and they are both still there battling to stay in the nest. I will have another check on them later.

Re: Hummingbird cam - Phoebe
Phoebe has just come in and fed them both, sorry about the small pic but I have the cam minimized on screen so I can keep watching
I need to get my tea in a minute so they had better not fledge whilst I am cooking Just seen you post Lai and that looked very close, it must have happened after Phoebe fed them.

I bet they do as well Lai. I am starving but I don't want to miss them but they could take hours yet and by then I would have fainted and missed it anyway

Me too - just eating Pringles to keep me going, unhealthy I know but I don't want to move.
Loved the photo of Phoebe feeding them - sorry forgot to say that earlier!

Re: Hummingbird cam - Phoebe
It was great to see her pop in Lai, she has not been visiting them as much lately and I think that is the ploy to get them to fledge, even though she will look after them for a bit longer when they do.
I have been in Brighton all day today clothes shopping, I did get lunch whilst out but that seems ages ago now.......and I did a mega shop so now need to re-fuel but these two are keeping my tummy rumbling........and I don't have any Pringles

Re: Hummingbird cam - Phoebe
Shopping is exhausting so you need food, and quickly .......
I think you're right about Phoebe so that must be a sign that they should fledge, preferably right now this very second, i've got to go........................
Catch you later.

Thanks Lai, I watched them whilst cooking until 7.50 and they flapped but didn't go, it's now 21.09 and still there.

Re: Hummingbird cam - Phoebe
Well I think I am going to have to sign off guys. On the chat some of the guys reckon Flash will Fledge about 3pm on Sunday and Pearl (or Opal as she is called on the chat) will Fledge on Monday and I must admit Flash is the more lively one, Pearl seems more content to just lie in the nest.....and almost push Flash out at times, there have been a few hairy moments when whilst Flash was flapping Pearl nearly knocked him out. Flash has just had another mammouth flap so if I sign off and we miss a Fledge, sorry guy's, but hopefully they will both be there tomorrow.

22-00pm and still staying out. They were doing all that wing flapping all last night, especialy Flash, he looked as though he was going quite a few times, had me on the edge of my seat.
