CONGRATULATIONS WS
After all the filming they had shown about the Grey Seals I thought there is no way they could not show your video and when they put it up I cheered for you .
Your clip looked so good on screen and everyone loved it, especially Martin, Michaela and Chris and i'm really pleased for you as they get loads sent in to them but I bet they couldn't believe their luck that they were doing a piece on seals and then receive your video
GANG WE HAVE A SUPER AMONGST US WS

WS. I didnt see Unsprung but well done you for sending in your wonderful clip.
A great programme this week, Islay looks beautiful and Slimbridge has one of the cams we were following earlier in the year. I'm really enjoying Autumnwatch this time.

Re: BBC Autumnwatch 2011
Thanks Guys. I really thought I'd missed out. I recorded it, and Autumnwatch as Mrs S was watching something else. So instead of watching Autumnwatch first, I whent straight to unsprung. After they showed, the videos of the Deer in the field, and the small Shrimps, I thought thats it it's not going to be on, then when they brought Richard on, talking about Seals, I thought it would have fit in well with that, but then they said there were questions, so again I thought Oh well, but it fit in perfectly, and the clip was edited to fit as well just right, they even got my sense of humour . It seems it was one of those things that was meant to be. In the right place, at the right time, with a Camera, and the show was featuring Seals.

Just in case anyone else enters, any pics, or photos on Autumnwatch. They dont let you know if yours will be on. You just have to watch, and hope

Re: BBC Autumnwatch 2011
Now I must confess to having recorded Autumn Watch & Unsprung on Friday as I was out. I skimmed through them both, winding on the bits that I didn't really want to watch. Now I did notice the picture of the 'pole dancing seal' and dozy me did think 'that's very like WS picture' but I still didn't put two and two together !!!
Did they give you a namecheck WS or just show the clip ?
Absolutely brilliant that it was on and that's definitely a wee claim to fame, nice one

Re: BBC Autumnwatch 2011
I have to say that was one of the better series, there was no constant vieing for who was the star,it showed that Kate was not so Humble trying to steal the limelight. This series saw the animals as the stars for me and rightly so.Already looking forward to Springwatch, providing the cast and format stay pretty much the same.

Re: BBC Autumnwatch 2011
I was really chuffed my Seal Video made the programes favourite highlights montage
I enjoyed the series to, and thought the new line up worked well, although with working at the Pub, I've got a bit of catching up to do. Do you know when the Winter Special is on PPH ?

Re: BBC Autumnwatch 2011
Just checked on the Autumnwatch/Springwatch website and they say that there will be a Xmas special (no date) and a Winterwatch at the end of February which I suppose it timed to be at the end of winter and beginning of spring

I agree TB. A good series with lots of interesting bits. Looking forward to the Christmas special and the one off Winterwatch. They didn't mention next years Springwatch did they?
Hoping the series continues, but with all the BBC cuts who knows?

Re: BBC Autumnwatch 2011
Thanks PPH, I'll check that out. Looking forward to the Xmas one. I wonder if they are doing this one, why did'nt they combine it with the fund raising for wildlife that they decided not to do this year
