Re: Thingys In The Sky
Thats lovely Lai and I love the colour of the sky and the crescent Moon is wonderful, I love Moon shots.
We had a lovely sunset driving home today but sadly no camera on me and no where to stop on the bypass safely, need to try and be a bit more inventive on where to try and stop and make sure I have my camera.
Slowly this thread is getting more pics and its lovely

Re: Thingys In The Sky
Thanks Littlewid and not easy to stop on the road, and I never have my camera with me! Missed some cracking buzzards and our lovely little kestrel must remember to have it round my neck at all times
Glad you had a nice sunset though

Lovely pic Lai
I really love moon pics - though even better would be a moonbow, anyone been to Victoria Falls and like to share? - and the background colour really seems to work well in this picture. Full moons, half moons, quarter moons, 10% moons...it's all good!

Re: Thingys In The Sky
Shame you missed the Kestrel Lai, that would have been wonderful to see. I m going to try and get some sunset shots but may have to go walk about by myself and not with Nero, he's not great at standing still
Never seen a Moonbow GR but would love to see one and never been to Victoria Falls either, so anyone who has, it would be great to see.
Moons are great GR but deffo on here

Re: Thingys In The Sky
On my way to work every morning I take a little detour and drive along the seafront, always a nice start to the day, well this morning it was sooooo frosty I thought the sky would be kind of dark and gloomy but to my surprise we had a magnificent sunset over the sea. Thankfully there were some temporary traffic lights so I had to stop, I didn't have my camera on me but I did have my phone, so heres snap of a magnificent sunset that stretched right across the seafront, the picture doesn't give it it's full glory but I tell you I nearly sat there until it had completely gone down, or is it come up

Re: Thingys In The Sky
LW great view especialy from a phone shot really well done, lovely to see. As regards if it was going down, or coming up, as you were on your way to work, it depends if your on nights or days. Hope that helps
