Re: Thingys In The Sky
Sorry GR, just caught up with this. Great shots really like the 2nd one, it looks quite dramatic. I though when I saw the first Pic Lai new moon , but I can see what you said about the clouds. The second shot I think looks really good as it highlights the moons shape

Re: Thingys In The Sky
It does WS - looks quite ghostly, but sadly it went too quickly!
I need a bigger lens for moon shots then you can see the craters which could be fun.

Re: Thingys In The Sky
Sorry GR I missed your cloud pics too......i'm not running round the forum that quickly obviously......must be eating too many yummy Mince Pies
I love those cloud formations, clouds always fascinate me and I love to see them blowing over the sky, the first pic is my favourite one
Great Moon shots Lai, the second one looks as if the moon is on fire. I know what you mean about the craters. I must get my Bro-in-Law to send me his pic I mentioned before, he has a lense that makes you feel you are sitting on the moon and one pic he has is fabulous, even if I do say so myself, I will try and get him to send it to me this week.

We're relying on you for the sunny daytime shots GR - all we've got today is rain, clouds and more drizzle ............ don't you love the UK when it's like this

Really foggy here at the moment too. I love the Winter days with a crispness in the air a clear blue sky but the sun still shining.
Loving the photos, keep them coming.

Re: Thingys In The Sky
Cloud formations are really beautiful on occasions. I took that picture in the middle of the day - took Bella for a short walk during lunchtime - but later on the drive home the clouds looked even more dreamy and comforting. Like fluffy pillows :)
I want to get one of a rainbow, though it is quite rare to see them, and then I'd need my camera on me.

Re: Thingys In The Sky
a camera would be handy GR I took one on my mobile in the woods the other day but very poor and didn't do the rainbow any justice. Unlikely to see a rainbow for some time now as it's rain, rain, rain and ................. more rain.
That's so true fluffy pillows or marshmallows!

Fluffy Pillows, Marshmallows, Cotton Wool Balls, you just have to love cloud formations and that second picture is a cracker GR How lovely it must be to be able to sit on a cloud and float in the sky.....if only eh
The sun in the first picture it's so bright isn't it, it's dazzling and I love the moon shot

So I guess that means you're number one

"Good spot GR" - yeah Lai, that's why I like to think of myself as a leopard...and as a giraffe, as we all know
You will forever be the of ing!
Story is on the way soonish, but not the cloudy one (maybe in the future though ). I have another one on the menu.
I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but let's just say that son is going to try to outdo father (or grandfather ) in the story telling stakes
It will be bought to the WAA down a chimney...

GR good answer!
Looking forward to the story - and if I'm away when you post it you'll have to remind me when I'm back - that means no pressure to post before 27th !!!!!
