Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
for the nudge Lai.
Great to hear there is a new website coming.
Must see if I can get my hands on the National Geographic magazine as the article on cheetahs sounds good.
Also good to hear they are updating 'The Leopards Tale'

Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
It will be really interesting to see the new Web Site, and what they have done with it. Pepe will be a great help in updating a Leopards Tale he really has a wealth of information on the Big Cats. Thanks for putting this on Lai

Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
Now that wasn't just any old update from J&A on the 19th November - it's starts off "Just been chatting with Camilla who was with us in Zambia for our Mfuwe Lodge safari. It was such fun and we all came away with some cracking images!"
Reading further down it sounds like you got some really good photography tips from Jonathan and I'm very much looking forward to seeing those leopard shots that you took How fantastic J&A have given you a lovely mention in their blog Lai, you must be so pleased with that

Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
Doogs. Jonathan really is such a delightful person (so is Angie for sure, but she wasn't able to travel to Zambia, more on that later).
Yes I was really lucky to be with Jonathan in the vehicle the night of the young male leopard, we sat for an hour watching him (late for sundowners but well worth the wait ) and also the day when we found the sparring hippos. As we were only 11 guests we went in 3 vehicles so swapped around to make it fair.
He is brilliant at tips and helping and always showing what photos he has just taken so you can get an idea of what your photo could look like

Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
To be honest Lai he sounds a lovely person and I'm not just saying that 'cause of who he is. You are a very lucky lady to have been able to spend time with him again on safari and for him to have passed on some the vast experience he has to you, just wonderful
Leopard ?- Sundowners ? - Leopard ? - Sundowners ? - yes you made the right choice Everyone has paid for Jonathan's experience on the trip so it's only fair he takes turns in the different vehicles so everyone gets a 'shot' of him :)

Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
Just caught up with this, missed it working at the Pub. Thats great to hear Jonathan talking about you being on Safari with him, and some really good advice on deleting, and taking shots with the auto focus, I tend to use that as Like J's my eyes are really not upto getting it sharp, but I'm getting better at moving the auto focus point around. I dont delete till I've seen them on my PC, sometimes you can always salvage or get something by tweaking. Looking forward to seeing your Hippo, and Leopard pics Lai

Re: Jonathan & Angela Scott's Blog
No pressure then WS or GR - I am hoping to at least post a few by the weekend!
My eyes are not brilliant once the light starts to go hence my comment about the daylight icon and the tungsten icon in White balance (look the same to me) result some curious blue looking photos which I deleted quickly before Jonathan laughed too much !!!
