I'm hoping it is available for other phones because I'm one of the few people out there who don't want an iphone

the cd is arranged with each bird song individually then together at the end so you can hear they sound how you would normally hear them. it also comes with a book describing each different song that you are hearing. there are also a couple of examples of songs for each bird

That sounds like a great CD PPH. We dont have i Phones either, but I'm wondering if you can download them to your PC then transfer them to your Phone. I'll look into it, I think if I remember right Lai you have an Android Phone like Mrs S, so if I find anything out I'll let you know. Thats agreat idea at the end to have all the somgs together to help to identify one amonst the others PPH

thanks for the kind thoughts Lai

They are closing down our call centre and moving it to a town where its cheaper. We've known about it since October and I've worked for them for nearly 8yrs so will be getting quite a nice amount of money.

Its also giving me a kick up the bottom to get a job I like doing and I have actually had an interview with the RSPB last week Very Happy working as a fundraising manager. I will find out if I get it at the end of this week and didn't want to say anything just in case I jinxed it but I think it would be a good job for me as I have had experience in that field of work

Everything crossed for you PPH and lots of luck with the interview with the RSPB. What a wonderful job that would be and especially if it is one you actually are interested in. Perhaps some good will come out of this and you will end up doing something you love.

Let us know how the interview goes.

Sorry to hear about your redundancy PPH Crying or Very sad But if there's anything good to come out of it it's (a) the extra pennies in your pocket and (b) the chance to do work that you enjoy and are passionate about.

Fingers crossed for you that you get the job, let us know one way or another, good luck :)

More signs of spring. The ducks are back, not the best idea on their part to be on the fish pond and walking round by my office (the dogs are here with me) but last year they managed to have babies and we think some of them made it to the river.

One to keep an eye on.

walking to work this morning I spotted a tree sparrow next with a tree sparrow sitting in it peering over the edge at me.

it made my day as its another sign that spring is here and hopefully will get lots of baby birds. I do need to start stocking up on the meal worms for all those baby birds that are on their way

Signs of Spring - Page 3 40683 Signs of Spring - Page 3 40683 I bet the Pied Wagtail thought his world was upside down. Alot of the blossom has come off the trees where we live, but we do have Buttercups Dandylions, and I'm sure I saw Daisys today when I was driving

Yes the daisy's are out and the bluebells are coming along, within the month they will be beautiful. The birdsong is fantastic, I was in the woods with the dogs yesterday afternoon and a Mistle thrush was singing away, an amazingly varied song. Spring is just such a wonderful time of the year.

I saw for the first time in many years two Brown Hare's yesterday. I was parked up in my Add/Mobile by a field people use to fly model airplanes. At first I thought they were two small dogs running after each other, but it was the Hare's, and although it was the 3rd April they were really Mad March Hare's they were running like the clappers. I think the Male was chasing the Female, usualy if the Female is'nt ready to mate she will box the Male off, but unfortunatly I did'nt see that, but it made a lovely start to the Day

On Friday at work I looked out of the window and a foot away were two tiny baby bunnies playing amongst the shrubbery. We have warrens all through the landscaping, but those two little guys were absolutely gorgeous.

Unfortunatly Lai. The field is to far away, and my little camera has'nt got a good enough zoom to get a decent shot. Little Bunnies SM Signs of Spring - Page 3 768480
