There's a guy called Simon Chebon who has been posting some updates/pictures about the Marsh Pride on the BigCatFanz page. He posted this picture of Clawed on Friday :-

Yep you're right WS - this time last month we all thought him & Romeo were on deaths door, just goes to show how tough and resiliant these lions are. Thankfully they don't go down easy

Lovely to see the picture of Clawed Doogs, I was beginning to wonder if we would ever see him again, it certainly is a relief.

A nice little family picture there WS of Joy and her cubs, they look as though they are growing well.

Marsh Pride Update (Dated 14/11/11):

On Saturday White Eye, Bibi and four others crossed the Mara River and spent all of Sunday on the other side of the River, then by Monday they were back taking up residence close to the Musiara gate. The other lions remained close to our airstrip hunting unfortunate warthog and piglets. The four males remained with one female mating they seem to be sending a message to the re...st of the pride to say we are here to stay no matter if you try to avoid us! Joy and her cubs are a little way away at an area we call double crossing, they killed a zebra on Sunday and we busy feasting together with the two older juvenile males. Still no sign of the youngest cubs but we will let you know if the situation changes.

Marsh Pride Update: (Dated 21/11/2011)

White Eye and Bibi and the other lions (12 in total) have been spending their time close to our airstrip looking for warthog piglets. The four new males are around half a kilometer away. Joy and her family are still doing well, the two older males are still fine and with her.

There is still no sign of Romeo and Clawed or of the new cubs we fear that they may have been drowned in the huge downpour.

We have also had an abundance of rain, greening up the Mara and bringing in lots of Elephants to the Marsh and surrounding areas.

Thanks for the update Doogs. It seems as though it could be sad news for Clawed & Romeo, also the young Cubs. But its great to know that White Eye, and the rest are doing OK, and Joy still has her Cubs

Miixed emotions there Doogs. Great to hear Joy and her cubs are doing well and the rest of the Pride but sad to hear there is no news of the little cubs, horrible if they did drown Sad

and no news of Romeo and Clawed is not great but I am wondering if they have moved out of the area because if they had died i'm sure their bodies would have been found.

Sounds like what we have been hearing from other reports Doogs and it's sad that the pride is so fragmented after how we have all known the Pride to be. These boys have really caused a huge stir haven't they.
It is such a shame that Romeo and Clawed haven't found each other after all they have been through together. It's still not sounding good but again I am hoping they are both ok......to sad to think otherwise.

I know I keep thinking that too Doogs, he can't just have disapeared of the face of the earth. There are so many guides out there that know Romeo and Clawed that even if he had died surely his body would have been found, I hate to say it but even his bones would be there if he was dead, so where is he? I do hope we get some news soon as it's just horrible not knowing how he is.

It's really sad that we've had no news of both Romeo & Clawed, and it seems unlikely that they are still around with everyone out there looking for them. I think sad as it ids we have to prepare ourselves for the worst

It it such a relief isn't it, those boys are made of strong stuff and it makes you just love them even more for their shear determination, what stars they are. A mixture of laughter and tears here this morning.

Welcome Jontsu, we are really happy to have you here and so look forward to your pictures when you get them. We have all been following Romeo and Claweds plight and have just been on edge waiting for news about them both.
