Their adult plummage is beautiful. Wonder how long they will stay around the box for. Thanks for keeping us updated WS.

We have been watching them for about 6 weeks now SM and they were probably a week or two when we first started watching. They can hang around the box or nest for about 14 weeks so we may have them around for another 6 weeks, fingers crossed.

Thanks for the pic WS, nice to see them again, I havent checked on them lately.

They are still there guys, I have just had a peek and one of them is at the back of the box, on the pic ou can just see a head in the middle at the back, I;m not sure if its Beach Ball or FootBall but its one of them. They are not ready to leave completely just yet, I mentioned in an ealier post when they would be leaving, oh yes, it was the 17th August I posted we had about another 6 weeks of them before they flew the nest completely. I will try anf see if I can get a better shot later but it depends if they move to the front or not.
Barn Owl Cam - Page 5 Mwsnap66 Believe me one of them is the blob at the back in the middle, he kept bobbing up and down and his eyes were visible as well Very Happy

They are obviously quite active now WS. Just had another look and one of them is there, not sure which but he is sitting on the beam at the back.

Its a pity they are seen less and less on the cam, but at the same time great they have made it to adulthood!

Just checked on Beach Ball and Foot Ball but no sign of them. Not sure if they are just off somewhere or completely gone now, I think they are more than likely just out somewhere as we still have a few weeks before they are supposed to leave completley. I wil try and have another look tomorrow.

Thanks LW. I havent had chance to look in on them in the daytime this weel, as I've been working every day since last tuesday. Just checked the outside cam but no sign. I think the best bet is to catch them in the day

Just checked both cams and no picture on either of them. The owls may have flown for good and the cam is down or maybe there is a problem, I will have another look later to see if the cams up or if there is any word on the chicks.
